A missionary to missionaries and a bridge-builder with apostolates around the globe, I serve at FOCUS National Headquarters in the Office of the President.

My dream is:

 ✔ that every Diocese across the United States be strengthened and renewed by the ministry of FOCUS missionaries

 ✔ that grace overflow in abundance fostering transformation of minds and hearts

 ✔ that many Catholic apostolates partner with us to multiply our common missionary efforts

 ✔ and that more and more souls fall head-over-heels in love with Jesus Christ and His Church!

As a Junior in High Scool, I experienced a missionary calling to leave everything to follow Christ and serve His mission. At World Youth Day in 1993, I experienced an outpouring of grace and a permeating joy knowing that I was uniquely set apart for mission. A recent High School grad, I immediately went into ministry at the Apostolate for Family Consecration, serving in the Philippines as a missionary for ten years and around the globe for twenty-two.

I loved ministering to youth and young adults and served as a Campus Minister at West Virginia University and a Youth Ministry leader in WV and PA. I later served for five years in Diocesan and Archdiocesan ministry, providing oversight of Diocesan offices and training to lay ecclesial ministers.

I loved meeting the people behind the scenes in parish ministry and supporting them in their roles. Leading retreats, giving inspirational talks, and facilitating workshops became a sweet spot for me and an opportunity to minister to the ministers, teach the teachers, and train the trainers.

When I transitioned to the FOCUS Denver Support Center (DSC), I learned that missionaries who move on from FOCUS often serve in parish and Diocesan ministries and other amazing Catholic organizations. They still need on-going support, formation, and community. I also learned that many Dioceses do not yet have FOCUS missionaries on campus or in parishes. I’m serving now to help with expansion, networking, and strategic partnerships. To quote Pope St. John Paul the Great, “The future starts today, not tomorrow.” I’m so excited to share my experience and leadership skills now as we build together a future of hope!

I’m not able to do this mission alone. I want to partner with you in mission. Just like our campus and parish missionaries, I have a team of mission partners – faithful individuals and families who join me on mission.

Together, you and I can be there to support missionaries and grow the mission of FOCUS. As we respond to the Pauline ministry, we will support Bishops around the world in their Petrine ministry as thousands of missionaries are sent forth to Dioceses around the globe. And by joining the mission of FOCUS, we are right there alongside missionaries as they reach students on college campuses and families in parishes – individuals who are searching, lost, and lonely. Our time is now – at this time in history – to make an impact that will last for generations.
