We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve as a legal assistant at the FOCUS Downtown Support Center (DSC).
I hail from the Front Range of the Rockies in Colorado Springs, CO. I had a stereotypical Coloradan upbringing. My five siblings and I hiked in the spring; skied in the winter; and spotted the changing leaves in the fall. I grew up watching the Rockies lose; caring for a hodgepodge of pets; and traveling in the US and abroad in the summers.
I am an alumnus of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), where I had a conversion to the Catholic Faith through reading philosophy, the witness of my friend, Austin, and my mom’s prayers. Since then, I have impetuously followed God’s will, discerning priesthood for two years, and then ministering to the homeless in Denver, Lincoln, NE, and Dayton, OH during the past two years. Besides working, I enjoy playing basketball, cooking, reading, and cycling.
As a legal assistant, I work alongside our legal team to facilitate the formative events, programs, and missions that FOCUS is known for providing. Although I served as a missionary for two years at another Catholic apostolate, I am excited to support missionaries indirectly through my work. By faithfully doing my work here at the DSC, I am growing in my professional experience, and I allow the missionaries to be missionaries.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
