We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15
I serve at the University of Texas at Austin!
I am apart of a team of 6 missionaries in hopes of reaching the 52,000 souls on campus. God has called me to serve as a missionary, bringing the love of Christ and His Church to those who hunger for hope, faith, and truth.
Like the first disciples sent out by Jesus with nothing but faith and trust (Luke 10:3–9), I now step forward, relying on the generous prayers and support of fellow believers.
A FOCUS missionary at the University of Florida sought me out, and that friendship changed my life. Over time, I went from being someone who was just curious about the faith to someone who was on a mission to spread the love of God to others. Saying yes to becoming a missionary has been my response to what God’s done in my life—and now I get to live out his great commission full time.
This mission is not mine alone; it is ours. By partnering with me in prayer and financial support, you are actively participating in the Church’s universal mission to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
Your support will provide for the basic needs of this ministry: formation materials, housing, and outreach efforts, all aimed at building up the Body of Christ in the areas I am called to serve.
Above all, I ask for your prayers. Nothing I do will bear fruit without the grace of God and the prayerful intercession of the faithful.
Thank you for considering joining me in this work for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
In Christ,
Ethan Jochims

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
