We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve in the great state of Wisconsin, at the University of Wisconsin Madison! I am so excited to meet students and help them encounter Jesus Christ!
My name is Andrew. I was raised in a Catholic family, attending Mass every Sunday and going to Catholic school for my entire life. But for much of that time, Jesus didn’t feel very real to me—at least, not until my junior year of high school. That year, I went on a Kairos retreat, and during one of the talks, something shifted. I realized that no matter how many times I had rejected Christ, He still desired my love and friendship. For the first time in my life, I found myself desiring His as well.
When I got to college, a FOCUS missionary reached out and invited me to join a Bible study. Through that study, I began to understand God’s plan for salvation and discovered a deep love for theology. I even started a group dedicated to helping students learn how to defend the Catholic faith. That same year, I attended a FOCUS recruitment event—and it was there I felt a profound call from God to become a full-time missionary. The call only grew stronger, and two years later, when the time came to apply and interview, I didn’t hesitate. Now, having accepted an offer to serve with FOCUS, I couldn’t be more excited to give my life to the mission of bringing souls to Christ.
When I said yes to becoming a full-time missionary, I also said yes to trusting the Lord to provide for my mission—both spiritually and financially—through generous mission partners. Your support allows me to fully enter into the missionary life: investing deeply in authentic friendships with students and helping them encounter the joy of Jesus Christ. I may be the feet on the ground, but without mission partners, there’s no fuel to keep the mission moving forward.
If you’re interested in partnering with me, I’d be honored to talk with you. Just let me know the best way to reach you, and we can set up a time to connect!
