“I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.” – Mother Theresa
Hello! God Bless you! My name is Tiffany Blanco and I am a New Hire FOCUS missionary!
To be determined!!! Please keep our team, students, and families in your prayers!
I was raised in a joyful, loud, imperfect, and Hispanic Catholic household! I knew the truths of the existence of God and His beautiful Church from a young age. For all I remember, I thought everyone was Catholic. However, at a young age I had a slowly understood and experienced the woundedness and brokenness of our world. As I grew older, especially around middle school, I impacted by the effect of our culture, the rapidly growing media and technology, effected by social isolation, and pressure to conform to others to feel accepted. Almost like a disease, I began to lose and forget my identity as a daughter and believed and lived up to the false identities and the lies of the deceiver had me believe were true.
In high school, a junior during covid, feeling empty and hungry for purpose. In desperation for hope, I remember feeling alive when I heard my theology teacher talk about God and making ourselves gifts for others. It was Christ himself, through the littleness of zoom meetings and a Catholic teacher planted seeds in my heart and like St. John the Baptist, pointed me to Christ and the hope of the resurrection. It is a slow process, but God worked through it and gave me a new heart. One where, like the smelly and messy stable of Bethlehem, Christ dwells and reigns. So now, like St. John the Baptist and Christs’ disciples, my goal on earth is to point others towards my hope and healer. To live joyfully and thank Him all circumstance!
Your role is truly one for the kingdom! A special part of the theo-drama God has planned! A beautiful example of what I see your impact is like, is when our Lord sent the Angel Gabriel and delivered the news to Mary’s of her to bear Christ into the world. She had no idea what would lie ahead and still, in faith, trusted. I pray she may be with you now as God comes to you in this little way, knowing your heart, asks for your “yes”, in total and utter freedom. To bear Christ to the world in this unique and intentional ministry.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
