Hello! I’m a first year missionary serving at the University of Texas at Dallas. Go Comets, WHOOSH! I will be serving alongside with my teammates Kevin and Ryan. Keep my teammates and I in your prayer as we enter into this new school year and encounter students on campus.

I was born and raised in the great state of Texas! Growing up my family was involved in the parish and encouraged us to live out our faith by altar serving or even joining them in the prayer groups they attended. Although I attended these events alongside my parents, I never really had a true understanding of what the faith was and why we do the things that we do. Fast forward to 2020, when I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. This is where I had the incredible opportunity to deeply encounter the Lord in the beauty of this small town.

I first encountered a FOCUS missionary on the first Sunday Mass of the school year for 2020. From that moment she truly showed me what a life with Christ was truly about: a joyful sacrifice. I would admire her in the way that she poured herself out for others, and still have so much joy in doing mission. She would invite me into that life by inviting me to pray with her, to inviting me to bible study, to guiding me in leading a bible study, to encouraging me to say yes to leadership roles at the campus ministry, to forming me in discipleship, and to showing me what true authentic friendship looks like. In the missionary investing in me so intentionally, I learned so much about the faith and grew deeper in love with the Church. She intentionally walked with me, so that I can teach the faith and personally invest in the women that the Lord has entrusted me with throughout the years. Taking on this role as a leader to guide them in their faith encouraged me to continually say yes to new opportunities that God had in store for me.

I am so grateful to be entering into this new adventure that the Lord has called me to. I desire to bring the gospel to every student I encounter on campus, and to grow with women on campus in authentic friendships so that I may then walk alongside them towards the Lord. I am so excited to share more of this mission with you!
