We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to myself.”
I have the honor to serve the students at Central Michigan University!
I have been blessed to walk with God since I was 15. Although there were many ups and downs, one constant was a great desire to be close to Him and to know Him better. By the end of my junior year of college, I was closer than ever before, but still, something was missing. I was missing a divine intimacy and closeness with the Trinity. I was still looking for my identity in other things. Through prayer, the Lord began to open my eyes to the Catholic Church. By my second semester of senior year, I encountered the Eucharist on a spring retreat at my Newman Center. I remember going to adoration for the first time and being overcome by the beautiful golden glint of the monstrance. Upon exposition, I thought, “This is what I’ve been searching for.” On that retreat, I was reminded in a new way of my identity as a beloved daughter of Christ and of the incomprehensible love he has for me, even in suffering. I’ve found a fullness of life that I would have never reached without Jesus and the church.
In the same way, there are students who are strangers to this radiant love and place their identity in things that are incapable of fulfilling them. Students are ravenous for God, and as a missionary, I desire to show them that in Jesus and His church, they will be fed. I believe that it’s our duty to teach others of the love that we’ve found, and to bring students into the fullness and love of the church because he doesn’t just desire just one person, but to draw all people to himself.
This is why I chose to become a FOCUS missionary.
“Some give to the mission by going out, others go out on mission by giving. Without both, there is no mission.” – Mother Teresa
When I answered God’s call to join FOCUS as a full-time missionary, I decided to rely on the spiritual and financial support of Mission Partners to help me through this mission. Without you, there is no mission. If you are interested in joining me, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 708-965-0313. I will be praying for you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
