We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello! My name is Daniel Paris, and I’m a Senior Manager of Formation and Strategy with FOCUS. Thank you for visiting my page!
I serve the Denver Support Center (formerly known as FOCUS headquarters) remotely from Manassas, VA. In this role, I serve as a “missionary to the missionaries”, training and forming them in the areas of human, spiritual, intellectual, and apostolic intellectual formation.

I joined FOCUS as a campus missionary in 2012, serving on the expansion team to Harvard University in my first year and as a team director at George Washington University in my second year. Since then, I have served on the Formation Team, whose mission is to help our missionary staff and those they reach imitate Jesus Christ, live the fullness of the Catholic faith, and lead others to do the same. My primary responsibilities in formation have been the design, development, and implementation of programming for events such as the annual SEEK conference, FOCUS summer training, and other formative events.
In July of 2025, I graduated with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Divine Mercy University. After spending six years studying the integration of the empirical science of psychology with the Catholic vision of the human person, I am excited to bring my formative and academic experiences to bear in a new role in which I focus on parish missionary formation, the application of psychological principles to mission work, and high-level strategy in the formation of missionaries.
Your support for the work of formation is incredibly leveraged, impacting over one thousand missionaries and tens of thousands of college students and parishioners globally. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
