We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
After serving at Georgia Institute of Technology as a Campus Missionary and Team Director for five years, the Lord has calling me to serve as an Events Manager for SEEK. This is my seventh year on staff with FOCUS and my second with Events. I will be getting married this October. My fiancé, Bucky, and I are blessed to both work for FOCUS and on SEEK together.
I am excited continue to share the Gospel through SEEK. I have seen this event change the lives of students as I have served on campus and I am humbled to get to work in the background for this event. At SEEK24, we had nearly 23,000 people join us in St. Louis and we will be headed Salt Lake City and Washington DC for SEEK25. Our goal is to create an environment for people to encounter Christ. Please pray for all those that will receive invitations to SEEK25 over the coming months!

I attended college at the University of Tulsa. When I arrived freshman year, I got involved in a FOCUS Bible study and continued to go to Mass every Sunday. Although, I was involved in a Bible study and still went to Mass, that was about the extent of my involvement with my faith. At the end of my Sophomore year, things began to change. Through a Bible study that was being lead by another student and seeing many of my friends fall away from the faith, I started to become curious to why I believed the things the Church taught. As I dug for answers and found them, I became more curious and zealous for the Lord.
As I followed where the Lord was leading me, I started attending daily Mass and met a number of people that showed me what a joyful, full life you have when you follow Jesus. A fellow student, missionary, and the chaplain at TU were influential in showing me how to live an authentic Christian life! I am forever grateful for FOCUS and their role in showing me how to live a relationship with Jesus.
My first five years with FOCUS I spent on campus at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. During my time on campus, I had the privilege of walking with many students. I especially loved serving our Greek students as Greek life was a huge part of my college experience. One of my favorite parts of my time at Georgia Tech was leading a new Bible study in Alpha Xi Delta. It was beautiful to see these women grow in friendship with each other and their desire for Jesus. Some of the women even came back to Confession after a few years! This is just one of the many highlights of my time on campus and ways the Lord radically worked.
So what is friendship? Friendship in its minimal state, is the encounter of one person with another person whose destiny he or she desires more than his or her own life. I desire your destiny more than I desire my life.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to serve on mission with me. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in joining in this mission, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. You can also contact me at [email protected]. I’d be honored to have you fulfill the Great Commission with me.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
