We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.’ I will rather boast most gladly of my weakness, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me…for when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Cor 12:9-10).
I am currently serving on the Formation Team where I help to form our 1,000+ missionaries as well as our tens of thousands of students! On campus, I served 3 years as the Team Director at Loras College and 2 years at the University of North Dakota.
Enjoy some pictures of the different teams I have served on over the years!
My story is one of God’s providence and grace. Like many, I was raised Catholic, but the faith did not penetrate the seams of my life until my sophomore/junior year of high school. At that time, my club soccer team reached the pinnacle of success, but the strange thing was: I wasn’t happy. Through God’s providence and grace, my quest for happiness led me to Him. As I began to draw closer to the Lord in prayer and through the sacraments, my heart began to change. Not only was I becoming more and more convinced that the Catholic faith I had grown up with was actually true; I was also coming to know and experience that the God of the universe loved me. This love changed everything, and it set me on a different trajectory than I would have chosen for myself, but it’s been the greatest adventure!
Saying “yes” to Jesus’s invitation to serve as a FOCUS missionary also meant saying “yes” to Jesus’s invitation to fundraise. All that we have is from the Lord, and I believe–with confidence–that He desires to provide for me & this mission in and through the generosity of others.
As I serve another year with FOCUS, I invite you to join me on this mission–through your prayers and financial support. Both are vital in allowing this mission to flourish.
If you feel called to support the mission of reaching the world for Christ in this way, please reach out to me. I’d love to share more about what God is doing and how you can be a part of it. God bless you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
