We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hi! I’m Jordyn and I’m a FOCUS missionary.
“Do all in God’s way.”
-St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
I serve at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Go cats! I love walking with the students, especially the athletes in our Varsity Catholic outreach, as they grow in their faith and their relationship with the Lord.
I am from the great city of Yakima, Washington and attended the University of Idaho where I represented my school as a cheerleader and majored in chemistry. It was there at St. Augustine’s Catholic Center on campus where I truly found my strength in the Lord. I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school, but my faith wasn’t something I was greatly committed to. When I joined a FOCUS Bible study my freshman year, I found myself being drawn into a relationship with the Lord. Thanks to my study leader, it was the fall of sophomore year when my heart was pointed directly towards the Lord after experiencing His immense love. This was when I knew I was going to have to put in the work to make my faith a priority. God is now the center of my life as I follow His plan for me with great trust, hope, and confidence! FOCUS brought me into a deeper faith with the Lord and what an honor it would be to do this for other students.
When I answered God’s call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me along my journey. I need your help to serve students and bring them to God’s love! If you would be interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to contact you and I will schedule a meeting. I would love to share my mission with you!
Feel free to reach out with any prayer intentions you may have, God bless! 🙂
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
