We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hi! My name is Abigail. I’m a first-year FOCUS missionary!
– John 15:5
I’m serving as a first-year missionary at Georgia Tech! Go Jackets!

On my second day at Tulane University, I met a FOCUS missionary who invited me to her Bible study. When I said “yes” to her invitation, I could not have anticipated how radically God would transform my life through friendship with her. Like many college campuses, the culture at Tulane is self-seeking through academic success and worldly pleasures. This leaves many students, including myself, drained of life. Only when I encountered Jesus in the Eucharist at SEEK my sophomore year did I experience a taste of His healing mercy and love. Since then, Jesus has given me a new life full of confidence in His love and filled with the joy of the Gospel that He has called me to share with others as a full-time missionary!

Jesus tells us that “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37) – the world needs more missionaries! Relying on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners, I hope to bring many souls to Christ. The mission to reach the world with the Gospel is not possible without your support. If you are interested in joining me as a laborer for the harvest, please reach out to me at [email protected] or at 309-267-0932. I’m so excited to be on mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
