I am currently serving at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette! I am so excited for my second year with the Ragin’ Cajun Catholic community!

My Story

Going into college, I knew my Catholic faith was important to me, and I desired a community that felt similarly. I made a conscious effort to get involved with the Catholic center as soon as I stepped foot on campus at Mississippi State University. Little did I know that was the start of what would quickly grow to be the Cowbell Catholic community. I was introduced to the FOCUS missionaries during their first year on campus and was invited to join a Bible study. An invitation as simple as that transformed my college experience. Through this, I found the community I had so desired and prayed for. Over those next four years, I grew in many ways and was blessed to be surrounded by like-minded people too. I eventually began to lead a Bible study of my own and grew in community even more by leading those around me in Discipleship. It has been a blessing to see those around me transform in their faith and relationship with God and to be a part of their walk with the Lord. I decided to become a FOCUS missionary to invite others into the community I had so desired when I was a freshman.
