I am currently serving my second year at San Francisco State University! Having been born and raised in California, I had a strong desire to stay in my home state and serve the people here. I’m so excited to be in San Francisco and continue to experience what Christ has prepared for myself and the students!

Christ continues to guide me with His gracious and loving hand! It was during college at the San Diego State Newman Center where my Catholic faith took on a deeper nature than before. Having been raised in a devout Catholic family, I never strayed far from my faith from an outside perspective, but I definitely did within my own heart. Practicing my faith out of pride and duty, rather than a true love for Christ. By the selfless witness of the missionaries at my Newman center and the community there, I was able to learn from their authenticity in striving to know the person of Christ. I was drawn towards a purification of my own heart and a desire to live out my faith as a witness that would point towards Christ’s person, rather than my own.

After having served my first year as a missionary, I have seen the lives of students in San Francisco change when they are provided just an invitation and an opportunity to build their life around Christ. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve in a place where, oftentimes, you introduce students to the person of Jesus for the very first time!
