We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“For I am certain that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
Romans 8:38-39
The Lord has called me to serve at
Growing up cradle Catholic, the church was always a constant in my life. No matter where life took my military family, the Church was always a place of familiarity, stability and community. While I identified as Catholic and attended Mass regularly, my faith was largely routine and lacked a real personal relationship with Jesus.
Everything began to change when I moved across the country to attend college at the University of Colorado Boulder (Sko Buffs!) to study Environmental Studies. At our Catholic campus ministry, I encountered FOCUS missionaries and students who did not just practice their faith out of routine, but who genuinely lived in relationship with Jesus Christ. I saw joy, authenticity, community and a deep love for the Lord that I had never experienced so personally before. I started to realize that faith was not just about checking boxes or attending Mass every Sunday. It was about knowing Christ personally and allowing Him into every area of my life. Over the next four years, the Lord completely transformed my heart through the people, discipleship, and community He placed in my life. What started as simply attending a church near campus quickly became finding a home where I was challenged, known, loved and drawn deeper into relationship with Christ.
Our heavenly Father wrote my story so perfectly, and looking back I can see how faithful He has been through every stage of my life. Even when I wandered, He continued to call me back to Himself through the people and places He intentionally put in my life. What started as simply being raised Catholic has now become a personal relationship with Jesus that continues to shape who I am, how I live, and the way I love others.
By saying YES to becoming a FOCUS missionary, I also said YES to relying on spiritual and financial support from mission partners. It would be such an honor to share more about my mission with you and invite you to join me in reaching students for Jesus Christ. Please feel free to reach out to me by phone number (571-585-8456) or email ([email protected]) if you are interested in partnering with me in this mission on campus.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
