We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“This is no time to be ashamed of the Gospel. It is the time to preach it from the rooftops.” – Pope Saint John Paul II
I grew up without faith and never really understood who God was, but everything changed for me through a profound experience with the Eucharist at Mass. It was during this moment that I realized the deep love God has for me, and in 2024, I was baptized, confirmed, and received the Eucharist at the Easter Vigil Mass. My journey of faith really blossomed when I met the FOCUS missionaries at my college. Their unwavering witness of love for Jesus set my heart on fire, and I knew I had to share the Gospel with everyone around me. I felt just like the woman at the well, excited to tell everyone I could that I had met the Messiah.
Now, as I prepare for my wedding in May to an amazing man named Cohen, who will also be a FOCUS missionary, we are both eager to spread the Gospel together. Our hope is to witness to others in the same way we were impacted by the married missionaries on our campus—through the gift of our marriage. We want to bring the love of Christ to college students, just as the FOCUS missionaries did for us.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19
In saying “yes” to being a FOCUS missionary I agree to help fulfill Jesus’ great commission and I cannot do it alone. As a FOCUS missionary I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. If you feel called by the Lord to be a part of this mission, I would be blessed to have you join my team!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
