We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:29
I have been called to serve the students at Southern Indiana University in Evansville. I am passionate about serving the students on my campus by joining with them in faith and developing intentional Christ-centered friendships.
As a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, I became involved with the campus Newman Center and FOCUS. It was through God working through the missionaries on my campus and authentic friendships that I first began to fall in love with Jesus and my Catholic faith. It was here that I learned that Jesus Christ was the one who would fulfill all my desires. By beginning to lead others to Jesus my senior year through a Bible study, I realized the great need for Jesus and community in young peoples lives. The decision to say yes to FOCUS and to walk with others in faith is a gift from God and by His grace I will continue to fulfill His Great Commission through practicing my faith and leading others to do the same.
By saying yes to FOCUS, I am also saying yes to relying fully on God’s providence in regards to all of my spiritual and financial needs. It is through the generosity and support of my mission partners, I am able to fulfill His Great Commission. Without the support and prayers of mission partners I would not be able to do the work that I do. If you are interested in becoming a part of my team, please reach out to me, and I will schedule an appointment for us. I am excited to enter into mission with you! By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
