Where I serve

It is my absolute joy to serve the students at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana! I am currently in my second year of mission and truly believe I have been blessed with the best job ever, to walk towards Jesus with these students, in this place, in this time, to reach all souls for the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

My Story

I attended the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During my time, I fell into many of the things that the world encourages students to do during college. This only led to a lack of freedom and direction in my life. It was through the love, consistency, and gentle call to become who I am meant to be from my own FOCUS missionaries that I found the true love of Jesus Christ. Because of others’ witness, I fell in love with my creator. In my senior year, I started leading a Bible study and was amazed at how the Lord could change my friends’ lives just by placing him at the center of our discussions for one hour a week. I am now a FOCUS missionary to do what was done for me, to share the Gospel and the truth with this generation of students. It is my joy to work with Christ on winning souls for heaven.

This past year on mission has been incredible. I have loved getting to know the students at USI, and it has been so fun to mentor and lead them in Bible studies and small groups. The Lord is truly transforming their hearts! I am looking forward to spending my second year on mission, continuing to walk with the woman the Lord has entrusted me with!
