Hey! I’m Allie and I’m a FOCUS missionary.

Where I serve

I am so excited to be serving at the Denver Support Center as the Program Director for Partner Experience. My team and I will be working to build stronger relationships with the Bishops, Priests, and Campus Ministers that FOCUS serves across the country.

As missionaries, we work with and serve the Church in the particular place we are sent, and it is vital that we invest our very selves into the ministers of the Church we serve! Our hope is that the Bishops, Priests, and Campus Ministers we serve know they are loved and cared for by FOCUS.

My Story

I was born and raised in Colby, Kansas. Growing up, my Catholic faith was a major aspect of my life. I attended every religious education class and youth group meeting, went to Mass every Sunday, and participated in all the various events throughout our diocese. But in reality, I was just checking off the Catholic box, without actually caring about any of it. I was content with living a mediocre life. Then going to college at Kansas State University, I finally had the freedom to choose whether my faith would play a part in my life or not. For the first year and a half of college, it didn’t. But I found myself still so unhappy and unsatisfied with what the world was offering me in college.

When I was a sophomore at K-State, I was invited to attend a FOCUS conference that January in Chicago, SLS18. It was there at the conference that I experienced radical friendship, joy, and the love of the Father for the first time. Ever since that conference, Jesus has radically pursued my heart and transformed my mediocre lifestyle into a life filled with joy, the Sacraments, and a deep radical trust in the Lord and his providence. My Catholic faith is something I now choose, and choose with great hope!

I want to share this life-giving joy and hope with other women on the college campus. It is my greatest desire to lead students to Christ and bring them to a deeper relationship with him! I spent 6 years as a campus missionary in Idaho and Montana.

Now, I will be working at the Denver Support Center, impacting the experience on campus for every missionary, campus minister, and chaplain we serve in FOCUS.
