We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello! Welcome to my page!
“A joyful heart is more easily made perfect than a downcast one” -St. Philip Neri
I have the privilege of serving a second year at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Go Owls!

My team will be the same as my first year, but William will be replacing Karl.

My teammates, Karl, Lina, Chayan and I from my first year along with our one of our Chaplin’s, Father Matthew.
When I entered college at Northern Arizona University in 2020, I knew I wanted to make my Catholic faith a bigger part of my life than it had been in High School. Since the university was mostly closed due to COVID and the Newman Center was one of the few places open, I met most of my friends there, and that community would become part of my college foundation. Among them was a FOCUS missionary whose joyful and authentic life struck me. Her relationship with God fueled her life, and I wanted to be like her. I joined her bible study and from there began to learn what a life with Christ could look like. It was incredible to realize that there was more to living a Christian life, such as leading bible study, and that Jesus wanted an intimate relationship with me!
As part of my studies, I spent an academic year studying abroad in Chile and Argentina (¡Viva Chile! ¡Viva Argentina!). It was there that my faith was tested, as there was no Newman Center, and it was a challenge to get to daily Mass and Adoration. I grew a lot during that year and learned to rely on God and surrender my circumstances to Him. It saddened me to see many of my fellow Catholic classmates not living the fullness of a Christian life, with most only going to Mass on Christmas and Easter. This re-ignited a spark inside me to be a human arrow to God and share the Gospel with those around me. I have experienced a deeper joy than I knew was possible because of my relationship with Christ, and I desire to invite others to come to know Him and His Blessed Life. I am excited to accompany students through their time in school and invite them into this life of peace and joy!
As a missionary I have committed to fully relying on the financial and spiritual support of others so that I can give myself fully to the students on campus. Your gift allows me to serve full time the students at Temple University and without your support, I wouldn’t be here. You make this mission possible! It is with great honor to call each of you partners in this mission and I am privileged to serve alongside you! If you would be interested in supporting me I would love to get in touch with you. Let’s bring Christ’s love to college students together and help each one to be seen, known and loved!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
