We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4
This Fall, I will be serving at The University of Texas at Dallas – WHOOSH! While on mission, I will also be a student finishing my degree and graduating in December!
I was raised in Pearland, Texas in a Catholic family, but did not understand or know Jesus Christ in a deep way until later in high school and in college. Learning about the faith in those years (and to this day) has enabled me to have stronger relationships with God and others.
As a teenager, I felt like I didn’t have an identity, but as I became more comfortable with the Christian idea of a loving God, I’ve recognized my identity as a beloved son of the Father and have deepened my relationship with Him and our Holy Mother. This has transformed my interior life and the way I strive to live!
The faith-based friendships that I made in college were the ones that were the most meaningful and guided me towards a life of virtue. These are the friendships that meant the world to freshman year Andrew – it saved me from loneliness and despair.
As a missionary, I want to be the friend that students can rely on. I believe it’s my mission to share life with those men in an authentic way, to push them to grow in relationship with Christ, and to invite them to go out and make more disciples. This is the mission that the Lord has called me to!
I truly believe donations are not just about aiding me financially – giving allows you to join me on mission. You will be enabling me to befriend those men in spiritual need, share the Gospel, and ultimately play a part in reaching the world for Christ – I am committed to giving it my all.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
