Where I serve

I serve as a missionary at Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA! I love getting to accompany students and live life with Him. This past year on mission has been one of many unexpected graces! The Lord has brought great healing and transformation in my own heart as well as those I get to serve.

My Story

During my undergraduate years at the University of Oklahoma, I encountered Christ in a tangible and personal way. FOCUS greatly impacted this growth as I participated in Bible studies and discipleship, attended SEEK conferences, went on several mission trips, and worked at a Catholic summer camp with Summer Projects. Through it all, Christ pursued my heart as He drew me closer and closer to His. I fell in love with Christ, desiring to give Him more and more of myself. Although there have been many moments of great fear and suffering, I know He is with me in the midst of the storm, providing a peace that surpasses all understanding. When I said “yes” to being a missionary full time, I knew that I was saying “yes” to Him. It’s been wonderful to see how He continues to use FOCUS to love me as well as those I encounter on mission.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. In making this decision, I believe wholeheartedly in spending as much time as possible investing in students through full-time mission.
