Hello! I’m Anna, and I am excited to share this mission with you! 🙂

Where I serve

God has called me to serve at the University of Texas at Austin, Hook’ Em!! During my time here, I will be primarily accompanying the student athletes on campus, helping them come to know Jesus and grow as lifelong disciples who follow Him!

My Story

Jesus has always been part of my life. I grew up knowing He was good and called us to live in that goodness, but I didn’t believe I was good. I thought love had to be earned, so I chased value through achievements, relationships, etc. But no matter how much I did, it was never enough.

Still, God kept pursuing me. Going into my sophomore year of college, I had a powerful encounter with Jesus. In that moment of prayer, I realized I didn’t have to keep striving, what I’d been searching for was found in Him. That moment didn’t fix everything overnight, but it changed my direction. I started pursuing a real relationship with Jesus, and slowly, He replaced the lies with truth: I am loved, I belong, and I am enough, not because of what I do, but because of who He is.

During college, FOCUS missionaries walked with me and helped lead me to Christ through their presence and witness. Now, I get to do the same, walking with students and watching God work in their lives, just like He did in mine.

When I answered God’s call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. I’m so grateful for those who walk alongside me. Walking with women toward Christ and reminding them they are deeply loved is my greatest joy. With your prayers and support, we can bring the Gospel to campuses and raise lifelong disciples.
