We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Every Christian is called to become a strong athlete of Christ, that is, a faithful and courageous witness to His Gospel.
-Saint Pope John Paul II
I am privileged to stay in the greatest state ever and will be serving the students and student-athletes at The University of Dallas!
This is my awesome team (including the faces on the phone)!!
Coming to college at Texas A&M (whoop!), I had a pretty solid faith foundation. I was blessed to be raised Catholic and attend a Catholic school growing up, and gained valuable knowledge of the Catholic faith.
Although I was consumed by relationships aside from mine with Jesus as well as athletics and being on the Water Polo team at A&M, this encouragement of prayer found it’s way to me from my college roommate, Alex, a great disciple involved in FOCUS.
My water polo team provided me with amazing friends that pushed me to actually live out my faith. Because I wanted to be a witness of God’s love to my teammates, I learned that if I was going to point my teammates to Christ, I needed to be in relationship with Him. It was from this lesson that I knew being on mission is what God was asking of me. I am pumped that I get to share God’s love with the student-athletes at the University of Dallas for these next 2 years!
In following God’s will to be a FOCUS missionary, I received the opportunity that is creating a team to both financially and prayerfully support me. If you are interested in building the Kingdom in this way, please reach out and I would love to have an appointment with you! As St. Mother Teresa said, “Some give by going, others go by giving.”
Let’s change this generation together.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
