Where I serve

For my first year of mission, Jesus has called me to Boise State University. Go Broncos! I’m so excited to see how the Lord will continue to bless this year and all my years to come radiantly living out mission and making disciples of all nations.This is my amazing team: Grant, Mikayla, Baby James, Clare, Caleb, and Thomas, praise God for the blessing they are!

My Story

“I have called you by name and you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 These where the words Jesus so tenderly and patiently spoke to my heart at the end of my sophomore year in college. These were the words that changed the trajectory of my life.

A couple months prior at a FOCUS SEEK conference, for the first time in my Iife, I felt seen and deeply loved by our sweet Jesus in the Eucharist. The sacraments were no longer just tangible signs, but now had a new meaning with the breath of Christ living in them and in me. But I was living a double life… wanting to know Jesus, yet feeling too broken and weak to turn away from the fun life I had been living in college.

Over a long journey towards redemption those first words spoken in Isaiah, pierced so deep into my soul that I was given strength to turn away from the life I had been living and to turn to Him in everything!

I am here today because of the enduring love that was poured into me from my first FOCUS missionary, Sophie; the girl who invited me to that place of redemption and living life to the full. This is the exact mission that the Lord has written on my own heart today — to show to all the Beloveds of the King, He loves them exactly in those places that feel most unlovable and unseen.
