Where I serve

I serve at Northwest Missouri State University!

My Story

Growing up I had a lot of questions but couldn’t find many answers that satisfied my heart. In high school I grew restless and deeply hungry for authentic truth when it seemed like the world just wanted to give me a small snack for my starving soul.

I found a glimmer of hope at a Catholic service camp when I met people who were on fire for Christ and His Church! I was truly convicted of my lifestyle at the time through witnessing their lives and their joy! I felt seen, wanted and loved, not for what I could do, but who I was. That week changed my life and I started living fiercely for Christ!

As I got to college I was hoping to grow in knowledge and love for God. I searched high and low at all the Christian organizations ultimately meeting the FOCUS missionaries at NW, they had that same flame set deep in their hearts for Christ and it was lived out so boldly in their lives. I joined a Bible Study and it rocked my world! My eyes were opened so wide to the truth of the Gospel and the love Christ has for every soul.

I want to be a missionary so more restless and wandering hearts can be struck by the goodness of God and find that they can be truly satisfied in Christ and the truth of the Gospel.
