We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I have served the apostolate for three years – both as a missionary wife in supporting my husband’s work with college students and my full-time work as a Portfolio Manager for our Mission Development team.
My husband, Quinn, has been on campus as a missionary for six years – five years at Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, NC, and one year at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. I had never heard of FOCUS before we started dating in 2021.
I attended my first SEEK in 2022 when the conference was regional because of the pandemic, and I had a positive experience but assumed FOCUS was a smaller operation. I continued to learn more as the year went on and I encountered our team and the students more profoundly, but my whole perspective changed after SEEK23 in St. Louis. I was completely blown away by the massive scale of the conference, the quality of the speakers, and the power of adoring our Lord alongside tens of thousands of other young people.
I thought to myself, “This is what I want to work and live for – I want a life completely on mission for Christ.” I felt God calling me to leave the world of politics that I had been working in and surrender my work in fundraising to Him through FOCUS. I came on board our mission development team that April and have served as a Portfolio Manager ever since.
I have worked in fundraising for almost six years now. I have been astonished at the great generosity of people across the country whom I have encountered. My husband and I have the honor of fundraising support in order to live a radical call to be 100% on mission as a family. Some days this looks like cooking for college boys after a full day of work, every Friday it means taking my meetings at the Catholic Center at URI so students can play with my boys, some days it means spreadsheets after bedtime, and pretty much every day it means babies bouncing on my lap during Teams calls!
Jesus tells us in the Gospel of Matthew tells us, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21). We would be honored if you would entrust us with a piece of your treasure that we may share it with our students and apostolate at large.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
