We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“…not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of His mercy, He saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” -Titus 3:5
I’m currently serving as a first-year missionary at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.
I grew up Catholic and attended Mass every Sunday with my family. However, I myself did not know what it meant to live in relationship with God. When I got to college, I chased worldly things and I simply was not fulfilled, without God, I realized that I had no purpose. I agreed to show up for a FOCUS Bible Study at the Merton House at Clemson University where I met FOCUS missionaries and friends who showed me what it meant to put Jesus Christ at the center of their lives and live not for their own sake, but for His. After graduating, I decided to put my career on hold so that I could further serve Christ and share His love with students across the country. I pray that as a missionary that I will be able to live out this same witness, and inspire the students at SFA to grow deeper into communion with Our Lord.
FOCUS has had a lasting impact on my life, and has helped me to truly encounter Jesus. Your generosity and support allows me to help share His love with the students of Stephen F. Austin.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
