Brendon Pond
Hey there! I’m Brendon! I’m serving as a missionary with FOCUS, working to share the hope of the Gospel on college campuses.
Where I serve
I’ve been with FOCUS for over a decade. I first encountered the life-changing love of Christ at UNL when a missionary invested in me. That moment changed the direction of my life, and it still fuels my desire to serve today.
I’ve served as a campus missionary at Ball State and the University of North Dakota, and for the past 10 years, I’ve served as a Regional Director based out of the Newman Center at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. I now serve as Director of Collegiate Outreach, directly supporting 2 campuses and 4 Regional Directors, while overseeing the mission on 30+ campuses across 8 states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio.
My wife, Mikayla, also works part-time with FOCUS, helping manage national systems that support our missionaries. Together, we’re raising our four kids—Maria (10), Lucy (8), Henry (5), and Gemma (2)—to live this mission as a family.
