We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
So the woman left her water jar and went away into the city, and said to the people, “Come see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” They went out of the city and were coming to him.
John 4:29-30
Hello everyone! This upcoming fall I’ll be serving as a FOCUS missionary for my second year at Towson University. I’m looking forward to continuing my work with students I’ve encountered and bringing more into our ministry so they may have an encounter with the Church and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pictured below is our NEW TEAM!!! From left to right: Father Mike Misulia (Campus Chaplin), Will Winterson (Team Director), Emily Milkowski (3rd-Year Missionary), Clarissa Ostorga-Carranza (1st-Year Missionary), and myself.

After having a reversion to Catholicism in 2024, I joined FOCUS in May of 2025 with the intention to share with others what I received from my experience in the Church: genuine friendship, the gift of the sacraments, and an intimate relationship with the one true God, creator of all things, the unmoved mover, the source of all hope, and love itself.
Since that time, I’ve seen so much good in the sacrifice to move from Long Island, NY, working as an independent musician and waiter, to Towson MD, taking the occupation of a full-time missionary. I think most of St. Patrick, my confirmation Saint, who served as a missionary and bishop in the country of Ireland. Without his work, Ireland itself wouldn’t have assumed Christianity or been stripped of pagan traditions. Due to answering God’s call of evangelizing the Irish, my cultural line was shaped in a way that has impacted myself, my parents, my grandparents, my great grandparents, and all my ancestors leading back to the 5th century. In reflection, I realize how my own missionary work can impact the generations to come, not just in my own family but in the greater family of humanity.
Spring 2026 Retreat with TU Catholic Ministry:
Here’s where you can make an impact. Through your prayerful and/or financial support you can help fuel my missionary efforts to “preach [the Gospel] from the rooftops” as St. John Paul II called us all to do. This past year, support from my mission partners has not only lifted up my spirit and inspired me to continue this work but has concretely helped make this mission possible where I am serving.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
