We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Some give by going to the missions, others go by giving to the missions. Without both, there are no missions.”
-St. Mother Teresa
I am beyond blessed to be able to serve as a first-year missionary at Oklahoma State University! As part of my outreach, I am looking forward to entering into authentic friendships with my students by walking alongside them in their everyday lives. My role is not to just lead Bible studies and produce numbers; rather, I desire to deeply invest in their hearts so we can grow together in faith and virtue. From this foundation, I hope to equip them to go out and do the same for others and to fulfill the Great Commission on this campus!

Growing up Catholic, I knew the faith mattered, but by high school, I preferred chasing the world. For as long as I could remember, I had been gripped by a persistent, suffocating anxiety that ruled my daily life and left me feeling empty. I carried this heavy darkness into college. In desperation, I made a raw bet with God: I would jump into our campus Catholic club, and if He didn’t meet me there, I was done with faith entirely. Never bet against the Creator! Instead of leaving me in the dark, He surrounded me with an authentic community where I finally felt seen and loved. I realized that grasping at worldly things was what was dragging me down, and I finally understood the truth of St. Augustine’s words: “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.” God did for me what no therapy could, completely transforming my anxiety into miraculous freedom.
Even as I began leading Bible studies, the call to full-time ministry was a massive, stubborn wrestling match. For weeks I fought God in prayer, desperately trying to convince myself that mission wasn’t my path. The turning point came when my missionary challenged me to just take one blind step of faith and attend a recruitment weekend for FOCUS. The exact moment I stopped fighting, let go of my comfort, and opened my heart to His will, a profound, supernatural wave of peace flooded my soul. The exhausting restlessness instantly vanished, leaving no doubt in my mind that God was calling me by name to this specific organization.
I am dedicating the next two years of my life to FOCUS because my heart breaks for the students who are currently drowning in the same worldly emptiness that once ran me into the ground. I want to meet them right where they are—on the courts, in the student unions, and in their daily lives—so that no parent, sibling, or child ever has to suffer the torturous fear of losing a loved one’s soul to darkness. I owe God my life, and I am running onto this campus battlefield with everything I have.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I chose to rely entirely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. Full-time ministry is never a solo effort; while I am the feet on the ground, my partners are the hidden heartbeat behind every breakthrough. Your financial generosity is the direct vehicle for the amazing graces God wants to pour out on campus, literally funding the tools of evangelization—whether that means sharing a meal with a lonely student, leading weekly Bible studies, or sponsoring life-changing retreats and mission trips. By joining my team, you are directly rescuing students from a culture of isolation and anxiety, helping them discover that they are beloved sons and daughters of a loving Father.
The impact of your gift goes far beyond the campus borders. The college years are the most formative time of a person’s life, and by investing in these students today, you are shaping the future of our world. The souls we reach now will graduate tomorrow to become the next generation of faithful doctors, teachers, lawmakers, priests, and holy mothers and fathers. As Pope Benedict XVI beautifully wrote to inspire the youth, “The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness.” By partnering with me, you are choosing to step out of comfort right alongside me to achieve something truly great for the Kingdom. Your generosity leaves an eternal mark, unleashing a ripple effect of grace that we won’t fully realize until we are standing together in Heaven. I would be deeply honored to partner with you; if you are ready to join me on this mission to reclaim this generation for Christ, please reach out—I would love to connect with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
