I’m excited to answer the call to mission by serving at Middle Tennessee State University. Go Blue Raiders!

I grew up in a Catholic family but stepped away from the Church after receiving my first sacraments due to a negative early experience. Years later, witnessing my cousin’s confirmation during my freshman year of high school reignited a desire to reconnect with my faith. Which led me to a new parish where I found a vibrant community and a renewed relationship with God.

When I entered college as a premed biology student, I was overwhelmed and unhappy. Surprisingly, I found unexpected joy and peace through prayer, daily Mass, and involvement in the Raider Catholic organizations. The only time I truly felt fulfilled was when I was serving at our Catholic student center, and I began to imagine a future rooted in ministry rather than medicine.

From the start of college, I got involved with FOCUS and was leading a Bible study by my second semester, finding deep joy in walking with others in their faith journey. My sophomore year, a conversation with my FOCUS missionary helped me realize that ministry could be a real vocation. I took a leap of faith, changed my major, and began seriously pursuing that call. Despite the challenges of college life, FOCUS remained a steady source of hope and purpose. By senior year, I felt a clear and personal call from Christ to pursue full-time ministry through FOCUS. I desire to accompany women in their relationship with God and to equip them to do the same for others.

In responding to God’s call to serve with FOCUS, I’ve committed to trusting God to provide the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help make this mission a reality.
