We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am so excited to serve the students of Arizona State University alongside my wonderful teammates! I’ll have the privilege of working primarily with student-athletes, who hold a very special place in my heart. FORKS UP!
I was blessed to have been raised in the Catholic faith. Reflecting on my childhood, I can recall an early attraction to the sacraments, but was never expressly taught the necessity or mechanics of prayer. I grew up practicing Catholicism without understanding that I lacked true intimacy with Christ.
Relationship with the Lord is prayer itself; in the absence of that relationship, I quickly fell away from my faith in high school. My transition to college exposed a hollowness and isolation that I realized was pervasive among many of my peers. Questioning the root cause of the hollowness led me directly back to Mass and the sacraments, and as I began to re-catechise myself, I found answers on an intellectual level: humans were made for Divine Intimacy, for deep relationship with God. It follows that seeking an identity in anyone or anything but Christ will never satisfy our innate desires. Walking straight in my faith remained an uphill battle in college, but God was faithful and relentless in His pursuit, culminating in a pivotal encounter before the Eucharist the summer leading into my senior year.
Each day, I am increasingly convicted of my decision to enter mission with FOCUS. I have witnessed the disordered ways in which misled college students and student-athletes go about pursuing truth, peace, and relationship. Every person has a right to satisfy these desires by coming to know their true identity in Christ, and our mission is to discipline students into this identity.
In answering the call to join FOCUS, I’ve chosen to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners in order to mobilize the efforts of our mission on campus. Mission Partner Development uniquely allows me to invite people I deeply care for into both my mission and my faith life.
If you feel called to join my support team or want to learn more, please reach out! I would be honored to connect with you, hear your story, and share more about my work on campus.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
