After I served on campus from 2015-2019 at Texas A&M University and the University of Oklahoma, I worked as a bedside nurse for three years. I recently joined the FOCUS Missions team, launching trips with on-campus missionaries and their students to reach people around the world with the Gospel. It is a joy to serve within the mission of FOCUS to make disciples of all nations, specifically through answering Christ’s call to love the poor, hungry, thirsty neighbors in our midst.

Growing up Catholic, I was blessed in my family with many opportunities to serve the needy in our community. I believe these early experiences planted seeds that influenced my decision to study nursing in college. As a freshman college student,
