I serve FOCUS as a Philanthropy Engagement Officer!

Our Story

My journey to FOCUS started in the Fall of 2018, my first semester at Ball State University. I joined a group of young men at the Catholic Newman Center led by a magnanimous priest through a program called Exodus 90. This program calls men to a radical return to reality through intense prayer, fasting, and chastity. This group consisted of men from all walks of life, including several FOCUS missionaries, whom I got to know very well. These men and this program were the first time I experienced true intimacy with Jesus Christ. That semester was a spring point for my journey to FOCUS. The Lord continued to call me deeper into relationship with Him and He was (and always is) WORKING.

The Lord continued to work through my first two years of mission at the University of Southern Indiana. He guided me through every trial and joy during my time at USI. God greatly blessed my mission at USI by allowing me to enter the lives of the men I encountered on campus and invite them into a relationship with Jesus. The greatest blessing I received this past year was getting married to my beautiful wife, Taylor, on December 3, 2022! We have had the joy of being on mission together these past two years and inviting students into our marriage. We also got to welcome our first born, Peter Augustine, into our family in August 2023 and he has been an incredible blessing to our family and mission!

The Lord has called me and my family to serve FOCUS in a different capacity starting this year. I now serve FOCUS National as a Philanthropy Engagement Officer. I help FOCUS fundraise for national efforts like our SEEK Conference, missionary training, mission trips, retreats, and many more. I am so excited to be inviting people all around the country into our mission and share the love of Jesus Christ with them!
