Where I serve

God has called me to serve the students at Miami University in Oxford, OH! Go RedHawks! Fun fact: Miami University was founded many years before Miami, Florida existed. Here’s a picture of the awesome team I’ll be serving with in Ohio!

My Story

I grew up in Jerseyville, Illinois in a large Catholic family. We went to mass every Sunday and prayed together every night. Despite my blessed upbringing, I had no idea what it looked like to make my faith my own and to have a relationship with Jesus.

When I got to college at the University of Missouri, I knew I wanted to get involved at the Catholic Newman Center on campus. This is where I heard (and was able to receive) for the first time that I could and should have a personal relationship with Jesus. That Jesus desired to know me and hear from me! As simple as that fact sounds to me now, it radically changed my life as a freshman.

My heart has grown closer to Jesus’ own Sacred Heart through my time at Mizzou, daily prayer, and leading Bible study there, but I still have so much growing to do. I’m beyond excited to see how the Lord transforms me and uses me to reach souls for Christ!
