Where I serve

I am so blessed to have this opportunity to be serving my first year with FOCUS at the University of Nebraska at Omaha! I am so excited to serve at my alma mater, and walk with students this year!

My Story

In high school, I was inspired by the joy my siblings experienced through the Newman Center at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). As a freshman at UNO, I was formed and led to know the love of Christ deeply through our Newman Center. I found true authentic men and woman who wanted to grow in their faith alongside me.

My husband, Will, and I were walked with in discipleship by a FOCUS missionary couple. They led us in a special way as we dated, entered into engagement and began marriage. We were so blessed to have a holy example to walk with in our day to day life.

As I began a job as a staff accountant, I wrestled in prayer with where the Lord was calling me. I soon found that my greatest desire is to help students know their identities as sons and daughters of Christ! I am so excited to follow the Lord’s call and bring Christ’s love to college students. I cannot wait to walk with them as they encounter the love that God has for each of them.
