We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I will go anywhere and do anything in order to communicate the love of Jesus to those who do not know him or have forgotten him.”
– St. Frances Xavier
Three years ago, I went to a retreat at Nicholls State University, and there Jesus met me in the Blessed sacrament at Adoration. With one glance and moment my life changed, everything was flipped upside down.
For the first time, the love of God was so apparent to me that nothing else mattered. All I wanted to do was follow Jesus. So, I looked for the FOCUS Missionaries at Nicholls, who taught and showed me an interior freedom and love which I had never known. From the missionaries on my campus, I was asked “Do you want to make Christ the center of your life”, and I said yes!
Making Christ the Center of my left eventually led me to want to share the gospel though leading a Bible study, forming others intentionally in discipleship, forming a habit of prayer, and frequenting the sacraments. The love and freedom that Christ provided me with also allowed me to choose my bride, Alisha, who I will marry May 30th this year! Christ then called me to choose being a missionary as a course for my life with my soon to be spouse in particularly to form young men to choose what is good, to become fathers, and to place christ at the center of their life.
Becoming a FOCUS missionary, I agree to help fulfill Jesus’ great commission, but I cannot do it alone. As a FOCUS missionary, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. The financial support of mission partners will allow me to spread of the good news of Jesus Christ to the nations. If you feel called by the Lord to be a part of this mission of making disciples of all nations, I would be blessed to have you join my team!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
