Hi! My name is Cristian and I am excited to serve as a Junior Hire Missionary while completing my senior year at the University of Southern California. Fight On!

My greatest desire is to help college students encounter Jesus Christ through authentic friendship and discipleship, just as others did for me. When I arrived at USC, I was looking for a community where I could continue growing in my faith while navigating college life. Through the Catholic Center, I encountered a group of people who genuinely desired to know Christ and help others do the same. What stood out to me most was the way the FOCUS missionaries invested in my life. They met me where I was, took the time to know me personally, and walked alongside me through the joys and challenges of being a college student.

Through Bible studies, discipleship, conversations, and simple moments of friendship, I experienced what authentic Christian community looks like. The missionaries were not only mentors in the faith. They became friends who encouraged me, challenged me, and consistently pointed me toward Christ. Through their friendship, my relationship with Jesus grew deeper, and I began to understand more fully the joy of living as His disciple.

As I continued to grow, I became involved in leading Bible studies and investing in other students myself. Some of the most meaningful moments of my college experience have come from walking alongside others in their faith journeys and witnessing how God works through genuine friendship. I have seen firsthand how a simple invitation, a listening ear, or a consistent presence can help someone encounter the love of Christ in a profound way!

My hope is that every student I encounter knows that they are seen, loved, and called to a relationship with Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this mission and help build a community where students can encounter Christ and grow as His disciples.

One of the greatest gifts I received in college was having people who chose to invest in me. The FOCUS missionaries at USC took the time to know me, walk with me, and help me grow in my relationship with Christ. Their friendship and accompaniment changed my college experience and continue to impact my life today.
