Hey!! I’m Dayna, and I am SO excited to serve my 1st year as a FOCUS missionary!

My Story

After making my faith my own and growing in a relationship with God throughout high school, and being a part of our school’s L.I.F.E. team, my faith carried me through what would be some of the most unexpected and fruitful years of my life. I have definitely learned that God truly does laugh at our plans, and His way is better than anything that I could ever plan.

After some twists and turns, as well as a few years of teaching middle and high school Theology (Go Panthers!), I went to a SEEK conference and got invited to go on a mission trip to Maues, Brazil. This mission trip changed my life! Seeing God work through the other missionaries’ lives, as well as the lives of people we were serving, was so beautiful and inspiring.

882a7d3e 5014 4c96 8c04 7e6e2b61ad46 After what I experienced in Brazil, I knew that God was calling me to more mission work, so I applied to FOCUS a few months later during my 4th year of teaching. I am so happy to now have the opportunity to keep sharing God’s love in a new way as a FOCUS missionary.
