We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God wants us to live in true freedom with Him. This truth has played a major role in my journey and was the spark behind my reconversion and deeper conviction in the Catholic faith.
I was blessed to grow up Catholic. When I entered college, I knew I wanted to pursue my faith, but I didn’t know exactly how. I quickly became caught up in the worldly ideas of college life. Thankfully, I was invited to join a FOCUS Bible study and later went on a mission trip. These experiences slowly began to form and deepen my relationship with Jesus.
I started to realize that the Lord wanted to fulfill my deepest desires and create a personal, intimate relationship with me. But it wasn’t until the summer after my sophomore year, when I attended FOCUS Summer Projects, that I truly became convicted of this truth. It was there that I encountered the identity God had in store for me and finally began to live the way He created me to live. He began to fulfill my deepest desires and showed me that a life with Him leads to the greatest freedom.
My heart was transformed, and I developed a deep desire for souls—a yearning to lead others to Jesus and show them what He offers. I said “yes” to FOCUS so I can help others experience the fulfilling life God wants for each and every one of us.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I chose to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me carry out this mission. It wouldn’t be possible without people who also say “yes” to being part of Jesus’s mission on campus.
If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you, and I will schedule an appointment. I would be honored to share in this mission with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
