I am SO excited to announce that I will be returning to the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota this fall!

I came to the Mizzou Newman center freshman year and was immediately introduced to FOCUS missionaries. My missionaries introduced me to daily mass and discipleship, revealing depths of scripture and doctrine I’d never encountered! My missionary taught me that the only thing that would satisfy me was Jesus Christ and invited me on mission for the salvation of souls. Each missionary that has walked with me has brought me into a deeper communion with Christ and I praise God for the people that sent them on mission to Mizzou!

Their prayers and examples have led me to do things I never thought imaginable! Such as leading a bible study, disciplining five women, and even running out of the church after daily mass to talk to women I have never seen before! FOCUS has taught me what I am made for; God and mission. Having FOCUS on college campuses is so vital, men and women deserve to know they are loved in the Catholic Church, regardless of their history.

Because of the FOCUS missionaries example, I accepted an offer to be a FOCUS missionary myself after I graduated from Mizzou with a bachelors in Journalism and Strategic Communications. I pray that I can love women on college campuses like my missionaries did and do. Your support for FOCUS directly impacts lives, like mine!
