The Lord has called me to serve the students at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana! (Chirp Chirp!) As a campus missionary, I will invite students into relationship with Christ, build them up in the faith and launch them into lifelong Catholic mission!

I am thankful to have been raised Catholic, and faith has always been a part of my life, but it wasn’t until college that I really learned how to have a personal relationship with the Lord. When I got to campus at the University of Missouri, I met FOCUS missionaries and student leaders who truly cared about me and wanted to know me. I was struck by their generosity, joy, and love for the Lord. They met me exactly where I was but loved me too much to leave me there.

Through these women, I was invited to begin a habit of daily prayer where I encountered the Lord in a deeper way than ever before. He showed me that His love for me is real, personal, and completely life-changing. I began to turn away from the sin in my life and grow in trust in our loving Father. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery” (Galatians 5:1).

Christ truly does have a passion for our freedom. It is my greatest desire and privilege to share this life-changing message of hope with the world. In the same way that I was encountered, I want to go out and encounter others and introduce them to a life of intimacy with God. I get to follow the method Christ models for us by investing deeply in the lives of a few and walking with them as they go out and do the same. Through this model of deep love and care for one another, we can truly reach the world.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I am not able to reach students on campus without the generous support of His people who partner with me in this mission.
