We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“You are the light of the world… Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven” Matthew 5:14-16
Hello there! Since childhood, I have been raised Catholic. And so naturally I thought I knew everything there was to know about my faith. I was involved in catechism, youth group, altar serving, etc. However, upon entering into college at Michigan Tech, I met people that were more in love with the faith than I was. They had a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ; they loved God in ways I had not seen before. I realized that my relationship with God was surface level; I knew of God, but I did not KNOW Him. I ended up learning about Eucharistic Adoration and how to foster a daily prayer life. God outpoured with love to me and our relationship began to grow. God is the Good Shephard that was always looking for my (and your) return. The path is not smooth, there are a lot of hills and valleys, but God is able to sanctify you through that, as he continues to joyfully work on us.
I choose to become a FOCUS missionary because it was the work of these missionaries that gave an example and were there to form relationships. They ran bibles studies and discipled me. I hope to do the same and let Christ use me as his instrument for evangelization.
I’m excited to talk to you about joining the mission. The work that I will be doing is not possible without your support. I’ll be investing my time deeply into the students on campus, sharing with them Jesus. I also plan to invest time with my supporters and form good relationships. Feel free to call or email me to get into contact or to learn more about the mission. Thank you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
