We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students at James Madison University (Go Dukes)! You’ll typically find me hanging out at the university cafe, the Newman Center, or high-fiving people around campus. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime! Come find me and I’d love to share it with you.
I spent most of my time in college going through the motions as a Catholic. I tried to find fulfillment in academics, sports, and relationships. After years of floundering, I was unhappy and restless. Nothing I did or tried really brought me peace.
It was only in the spring of 2023 that I truly encountered the Catholic faith in a true manner – through Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. I started to get more involved in my Newman Center. In my last year as a student, I began leading Bible studies, discipleship groups, and growing ever deeper in my faith.
As I gave more and more of my self in a “yes” to God, He started asking for more and more. I was invited to apply to become a missionary in the fall of 2024 and laughed at first. As I kept praying, though, it became clear that God was inviting me to take this next (and biggest) step.
On my interview weekend with FOCUS, I became absolutely convinced that God wanted to use me and my story to reach young adults on college campuses and bring about deep conversions to Him. I gave my ‘yes’ to be a missionary in the spirit of Mary’s ‘fiat,’ and I have never looked back.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
