This fall I will be headed to George Washington University in Washington D.C, where in many ways it’s just like my home city and in many ways not. People from all over the world come to NYC, and in NYC you can meet the entire world. Everyone I grew up with and their families came here with their own story and dreams for success. At GW, students from all over the world come with their ambitions and aspirations which are not only for their own success, but for the success of civilization and our country. While they hope to change the world, my hope is for Jesus to change their hearts, and for them to know of their eternal citizenship in the Kingdom of Heaven.

今年秋季，我將前往華盛頓特區的喬治華盛頓大學。那裡在很多方面都像紐約市，但也有很多不同之處。來自世界各地的人們匯聚紐約市，在紐約市，你可以認識來自世界各地的人。我成長過程中認識的每個人，以及他們的家人，都帶著各自的故事和對成功的夢像來到這裡。在喬治華盛頓大學，來自世界各地的學生懷抱著他們的抱負和願望，這些抱負和願望不僅是為了他們自身的成功更是為了文明和我們國家的繁榮昌盛。他們渴望改變世界，而我卻希望耶穌能改變他們的心，讓他們認識自己是天國的永恆公民。

I said my first yes to ministry when I agreed to be a volunteer catechist at my home parish six years ago. That experience has opened my eyes to the need for Jesus to enter into everyone’s hearts, especially the hearts of his little children. But, I’ve also come to know my deeper need for Jesus to be at the center of my heart too. Even though the students I will be with now are much older than my First Holy Communion catechism class, they are still God’s beloved little children who deserve to know the love of their Heavenly Father and that they are called to live a life of joyful abundance in Christ Jesus.

I am so lucky to be doing this work full time because I honestly can’t live my life doing anything else but talk about who Jesus is, what he has done, and what adventure he has in store for me and for you!

六年前，我答應在堂區裡當義務教理老師，這是我第一次對天主的事奉說「我願意」。那段經歷讓我明白，耶穌需要進入每個人的心，尤其是祂的孩子的心。同事我也更深刻了解到耶穌也需要成為我心中最重要的存在。雖然我現在要帶領的學生們比我當年帶初領聖體班的孩子們年長許多，但他們依然是天主深愛的孩子們，他們值得認識天父的愛，也值得明白自己蒙召要在基督耶穌里活出豐盛喜樂的生命。

我非常幸運能夠全職從事這份工作，因為我真的無法想像除了談論耶穌是誰，祂做了什麼以及祂為我和你們準備了怎樣的冒險之外，還能做其他任何事情！

The college campus is a place where young people will be formed and make decisions that will guide the rest of their life. In order for us to be radically available for these men and women I’m inviting you to be an active member of this ministry through your financial support. This will be most fulfilling investment in the world with the “return” being the transformation of an individual’s life for all eternity.
