We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Do not be afraid to go out and bring Christ into every area of life.”
— St. John Paul II
After 2 years of mission in Seattle, God has called me to serve college students at the University of California Los Angeles! This is my 3rd year on staff with FOCUS. In California I will be leading and engaging the UCLA missionary team as team director.
I’ve been blessed with parents, mentors, and teachers who shared the gift of faith with me. Growing up, I knew a lot about Jesus—but I didn’t know Him personally. That changed in high school when my best friend Max invited me to go deeper. That simple yes sparked a fire in my heart. I began to hunger for more of God.
In college, I faced challenges, but God had a plan. He led me to the Newman Center, where I found a vibrant community and met FOCUS missionaries. It was there I truly encountered the Gospel. My faith came alive! I learned how to pray, live in virtue, and walk daily with Jesus.
After college, I worked as a pediatric rehab nurse—but I couldn’t ignore the desire God had placed on my heart for mission. I knew He was calling me to bring His love to college students.
Jesus has changed my life. I want others to know the joy, freedom, and purpose that come from a relationship with Him. Too many students go through college without ever hearing the Gospel—and I’m here to change that!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
