As a missionary, my greatest desire is to help college students encounter the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. During my time at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I began to take my faith seriously through daily prayer, receiving the Eucharist at daily Mass, and surrounding myself with others who wanted to live as disciples of Christ. Through that season, God showed me that life is about more than success or comfort; it’s about knowing Him and helping others do the same. Through the SEEK conference, personal prayer, and discernment, I realized I was called to follow Christ and lead others to Him. FOCUS’s mission of investing deeply in students through authentic friendship, Bible studies, and discipleship mirrors how Christ has molded me into the man I am today—and that’s exactly what I hope to do for others. I can’t wait to step onto campus and start building those relationships, trusting that God will move in powerful ways.
