Where I serve

My name is Gabrielle and I am beginning my first year on mission as a Varsity Catholic missionary at Michigan Tech University. Go Huskies! I am super excited to get to campus and work with the female student-athletes there, explore the U.P., and see what all the Lord has in store for me and my team! 1000008869

My Story

Growing up, I had a very supportive and loving Catholic family. I knew that going into college I wanted to continue my faith and find a good community to help me in that. A Focus missionary reached out to me in my first semester when school life was hard and I was very homesick. She invited me to hang out and eventually into a Bible study and we have been friends ever since! Throughout my four years at THE Ohio State University, I was challenged in many ways and I discovered a relationship with Jesus that I didn’t know was possible. While on the Women’s Varsity Rowing Team at OSU, there were many challenges that came with being a student-athlete, but through my strengthened relationship with Jesus and the authentic friendships I had made through Focus, I was able to overcome those challenges because I knew my true identity, a beloved daughter of God.

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to help student-athletes find their identity in Christ and walk with them as they navigate growing their faith through college. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I am so excited to share that with the students at Michigan Tech!
