I am a third-year missionary from Tennessee serving the students of Middle TN State University. I am newly married, and I work as a Team Director with three other Focus Missionaries and the Catholic Campus Ministry spreading the Gospel at MTSU. It is a blessing to work with students on campus and enter into friendship with them. I love spending time playing soccer and basketball with my students and witnessing to the beauty of my vocation as a married man. I also enjoy leading men in bible studies and discipleship with Jesus.

Many times, during my first two years of college, I felt alone and unfulfilled, and I struggled immensely with comparison and chastity. Deep in my heart, I yearned for authentic brotherhood with virtuous men. Through great efforts from my university’s chaplain and Focus Missionaries, I went to a student retreat and started to become more involved in the catholic community on campus. In wonderful ways, my prayers began to be answered. I found authentic friendships in the men I attended bible study with and the focus missionary who was discipling me. My missionary helped me grow astronomically in my faith and conviction to spread the Gospel. Even more than that, he was a true friend and mentor to me. It was his witness and the way he centered his life around Christ that most inspired me to live a life dedicated to my Heavenly Father. All of these experiences, formed a desire to share the joy that I had found in Jesus Christ with other students. With complete abandonment to our Lord, I deferred graduate school and become a Focus missionary to fulfill the Great Commission in a radical way.

I am so excited to be on mission, but I can’t do it alone. In order for me to facilitate genuine friendships with students, I need partners in mission who will generously support me. From your generosity, I can take students out to lunch, pay for road trips and hiking trips, send students to retreats and conferences, and so much more. As mission partners, you will walk alongside me in spirit as I mentor young men and lead them to Christ. Through prayers, financial support, and special gifts I am able to be a missionary full-time and provide generously for the students I serve. Thank you for partnering with me!
