We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
This year is my 10th year as a missionary with FOCUS. As a Regional Director, I will be working with the FOCUS teams at the University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the University of Maine, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Campus Worcester (a team that serves multiple college campuses in the Diocese of Worcester, MA). I previously served as a missionary on campus at the University of Maryland, and as the Team Director at West Chester University and George Mason University.
I experienced a radical transformation my sophomore year at the University of Connecticut through the impact of FOCUS missionaries. At this time in my life, the secular college culture by which I was surrounded left me unfulfilled. I began spending time with FOCUS missionaries and student leaders, and I was so amazed by their way of life. Their joy was contagious, and its source was ultimately their relationship with God. Once I was shown how to have this relationship through a daily prayer life and a loving devotion to the sacraments, I began to experience this joy for myself! I became very convicted of the need to evangelize and was drawn to the life of a full time FOCUS missionary. I am so grateful to continue serving in this mission now more than 10 years after my reversion to the Catholic Church!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule a time to share more about how you can help. I would not be able to serve as a missionary without a monthly support team, and so I am very grateful for your help through prayer and monthly financial gifts!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
